ARACHNE v30.5 · The First Epistemic Decision Engine

Every decision system
lies about what it knows.

AI gives you confidence. It cannot give you honesty. ARACHNE is the first engine built to separate proof from guesswork—and say so out loud.

For teams where the cost of being wrong exceeds the cost of being slow: pharmaceuticals, energy & power, aerospace, defense, food & beverage, engineering, safety, and finance.

The problem

Overconfidence is not
a bug. It's the design.

Every tool you trust today—machine learning models, rules engines, dashboards—was built to produce answers. None were built to admit ignorance. The result: systems that sound certain about things they cannot know.

In high-stakes operations, that blind spot is expensive. Sometimes fatal. A pharmaceutical batch decision made on incomplete data. A margin call executed on a stale signal. A safety override triggered by a model that never saw the edge case.

Who this is for

Built for decisions
where error is costly.

If your operation touches safety, quality, regulatory exposure, or margin at scale, ARACHNE was built for you. Not as a dashboard. As a decision layer that knows the difference between what is proven and what is guessed.

If your field is not listed but your decisions carry asymmetric downside, the architecture still applies.

Before ARACHNE · After ARACHNE

Before

  • Models output confidence scores no one can audit
  • Missing data gets ignored or imputed silently
  • Safety and cost trade off in opaque spreadsheets
  • Post-decision forensics find the error—too late
  • The same "unknown" kills the next decision

After

  • Every claim carries a live, recomputable proof
  • Missing data is flagged as ignorance and escalated
  • Safety and quality are hard gates; cost is weighed inside thresholds you control
  • Pre-decision proofs catch the gap before action
  • Gaps are labeled, recorded, and resolved
The organism · Add-on organs

Every organ binds to a
byte-stable core.

ARACHNE deploys as a private engine. Each organ adds a governed decision domain without mutating anything downstream. Add one. Add three. Reverse any of them. The core never breaks.

Core Engine

The eleven-dimensional epistemic lattice. Live proof verification. Explicit ignorance labeling across every subsystem.

PROVEN · 5 CHECKS

Margin Expansion

36-node safety and quality gating for margin decisions. Hard gates, operator thresholds, versioned records.

Proof Walk

Recompute every claim in your own browser. Five checkable assertions, one planted falsehood, two uncomputable gaps.

Challenge Mode

Run ARACHNE against your own decisions under NDA. The engine does not learn your data. It verifies your reasoning.

Swarm Collector

What you get

Decisions backed by
live, checkable proofs.

Every capability on this page is a test the system passed. The provenance comes from public, checkable sources: NIST ACVP vectors, differential-privacy accounting, ChEMBL, Open Targets, ClinicalTrials.gov.

Each reference is a vector you can recompute yourself. Every gap is labeled, never hidden. You do not trust ARACHNE. You verify it.

New add-on organ · Margin Expansion

Safety first.
Quality second.
Then service and cost.

The Margin Expansion organ evaluates 36 required input nodes before it recommends or executes any bounded action. Safety and quality are hard gates—they cannot be overridden. Customer service and cost are weighed against each other inside operator-controlled thresholds.

If evidence is missing, stale, contradictory, or below the active confidence threshold, ARACHNE requests more data from the swarm or escalates to a human. The mechanism has passed its tests. Real-world margin and service impact remain under live validation.

Why ARACHNE · Why now

Not a better AI.
A different architecture.

We did not set out to build a better dashboard, a smarter model, or a faster rules engine. We set out to solve a problem no one else was naming: decision systems that cannot admit what they don't know.

There is no "competitive landscape" for epistemic decision engines—because no one else builds them. ARACHNE was first. By design, it still stands alone.

First epistemic engine · proven / Competition · none Position: Category creator. Not a faster horse. A fundamentally different machine.
What it doesn't

Everything else is
labeled ignorance.

The system names its gaps with the same care as its strengths. If it is guessing, it says so. If a claim cannot survive a deposition, we do not make it.

Field efficacy is unclaimed. Mechanism is proven. We draw the line between the two in the open and firewall it from speculation.

The proof-walk
Eight assertions enter: five checkable, one a planted control, two uncomputable. None believed yet.
Each is recomputed live, in your browser. The checkable verify. The lattice catches and drops the planted falsehood. The uncomputable are labeled, never claimed.

How it works

Additive binding.
Zero mutation.
Full reversibility.

We bind. We never break. New layers bind onto a byte-stable core. Nothing downstream mutates, and every change reverses.

The engine itself stays private. You verify the record it leaves behind.

Who built it

A phoenix who
learned to code.

Eris Crosswhite built this alone under Reticulative Logic™: one architect who decided the machine would admit when it was guessing.

Patent pending, every change archived. The record is the proof.

Resources · Proof over promise
